The pharmacy of Llívia has been documented since 1594 and is considered the oldest in Europe. At the beginning of the seventeenth century Esteva was taken over by the family, a saga that kept it open for seven generations, until in 1926 the last pharmacist closed it. In 1965, the Diputación de Girona acquired it with the commitment of staying in Llívia. The museum also houses an important collection of archaeological material that reviews the history of the population.
Open from Monday to Friday: 09:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.
Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Closed Sunday afternoon, Monday and Tuesday morning
