NATURAL ENVIRONMENT

You can enjoy the natural environment while taking walks:

The SOURCES is an itinerary that lasts about an hour and a half and has an unevenness of 100 meters. You can refresh yourself in the torrent of Estahuja and Rocacanal and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of the waters of the source of the SOFRE, the source of XÀFEC and the source of the FERRO. You will also find some examples of rural architecture in dry stone - shepherd's huts, plots, beams, the Carrasut aqueduct - that will show you the way of life that people of the past took to Cerdanya.

You can follow one of the sections of the SANT JAUME ROUTE that leads to Puigcerdà and repeat the path of those pilgrims. It is a 7 km walk, quite flat, which can last an hour and a half. You will arrive to Ur and you will pass through the church of Sant Jaume de Rigolisa, next to Puigcerdà.

In the high mountain areas that the town conserves in BAIX CARLIT and BAC DE LLÍVIA, you can enjoy the lakes of the Bulloses, its pastures and its forests. To get there, follow an itinerary of about 16km with a quite unevenness. You leave the terme de Llívia above Cereixa and follow the path that the cattle went over to spend the summer in the pastures of the Bulloses.
